Financial Management
K-12 Meal Essentials will assist your district's/ organization's nutrition department with the following financial resources and support tools -

Budget overview and an assessment of department financial status

Make recommendations to increase revenue and decrease expenditures

Conduct assessments on food & labor costs
-
Review monthly profit & loss statements (statement of activities)
-
Submit all claims for reimbursement of meals and conduct monthly claims and edit checks
-
Assist with planning the department's budget and making adjustments to the budget as necessary
