About Us

K-12 Meal Essentials is a group of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN's) and Child Nutrition Directors who have successfully operated School Nutrition Programs and Child and Adult Care Food Programs at multiple school districts and charter schools throughout California. Each member of out team holds a School Nutrition Specialist (SNS) credential, and is a ServSafe Certified Manager and Proctor. Our team has managed anywhere from eight to ninety food service staff members at any given time, and has maintained a proven track record when it comes to operating a financially sound budget. Additionally, we are experts in implementing and ensuring compliance with all federal and state meal pattern requirements, and have proven to implement these requirements in a manner which has increased participation at dozens of schools. We have successfully passed multiple Administrative Reviews with zero financial findings, and are experts in all aspects of Child Nutrition Programs!
